Design-Build project for the renovation and rehabilitation of the façade of Building 70 at the 1,500,000 square foot Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Our work encompassed the brick façade of the four-story, multiple-wing building. Greenstone provided all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the inspection and inventory of deficiencies in the mortar joints and brickwork, development of repair/rehabilitation methods, and the implementation of these methods in the repair/rehabilitation of the building façade. The project required a pedestrian traffic control plan, map, and schedule of restrictions/closures as well as coordination with other ongoing construction projects that impacted access for the project.
